Axa UK has launched a new lower premium motor insurance product to cater for changes in driving habits brought on by the pandemic. The insurer said the Defaqto 3 Star rated product was aimed at those no longer commuting daily and who had reduced their annual mileage.
The product, Axa Plus Car Insurance, will initially launch to customers via Confused.com and MoneySuperMarket in February.
Jo Lloyd, retail customer and propositions director at Axa UK, said: “We always want to provide our customers with more choice to suit their individual circumstances and hope that this new product will appeal to those who are looking to benefit from an Axa motor policy at a reduced cost.
“The new offering will continue to provide some of those things that really matter to our customers, such as child car seat cover and 90-day European cover, as well as the option to upgrade to include a courtesy car.”
