ABL Group, the Northern Ireland hub of Brown & Brown (Europe) Ltd, has acquired Davison & Associates (NI) Ltd and Davison Lamont Ltd, which are both based in Northern Ireland.

Davison & Associates was established in 2009 and is a commercial claims management company specialising in large commercial and household losses. Davison Lamont was established in 2012 and is an insurance intermediary.

Brian Davison, co-founder of both firms, said: “We strongly believe that ABL and the wider Brown & Brown Europe group will be the best possible custodians for our team and our customers.

“I have watched the growing success of ABL for a number of years, and worked alongside them on many occasions, so I am confident that ABL will be the perfect fit for us all.

“The opportunity to be part of the Brown & Brown team, with all the benefits that brings for our stakeholders, was a significant factor in our decision to sell the businesses.”
