Insurers switch focus from IT to organisational change

The latest UK Labour Market Trends report from recruitment specialist Harrison Holgate and market data analysts Vacancysoft, shows insurers putting an increased priority on non-IT change roles.

The report states: “According to the 2023 forecast, (non-IT) change vacancies are poised for remarkable growth, with a projected increase of 9.2%. As a result, vacancies this year on track to hit record levels, with a forecast of 113 versus 103 last year.”

It added: “Conversely, the IT change segment faces a stark contrast, with a foreseen decrease of -59.1%, marking its lowest point since 2021. This substantial decline in some ways reflects the dip in funding in insurtech.”
