Direct Line Group has announced that Jane Poole will become group chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval, and will join the board in October 2024. She joins from Aviva where she was CFO of the carrier’s UK and Ireland general insurance business.

Danuta Gray, chair of Direct Line Group, said: “The Board is delighted to welcome Jane Poole as our new Group CFO.
