The Chartered Insurance Institute has teamed up with insurance innovation training provider EDII in a move to help members identify and access new education and development programmes. EDII’s Digital Mind programme has been benchmarked to align with the CII’s Professional Map, a competency framework detailing the knowledge and behaviours professionals need to succeed in their roles.
Vanessa Riboloni, professional capabilities and insight manager at the Chartered Insurance Institute, said: “The CII’s Professional Map is the international benchmark for excellence in the insurance and personal finance professions for both individuals and companies. To help bring the Map alive, and help our members access high quality programmes, we are delighted to be partnering with EDII whose innovation-focused education aligns directly with our framework and the needs of our members.”
Caroline Bedford (pictured), CEO of EDII, added: “We are extremely proud to be partnering with the CII who recognise that ensuring the profession is future focused is not just an option, but a necessity, if the insurance market is to drive innovation, effectively manage emerging risks in an increasingly complex world and meet changing customer needs.”
