The Green Insurer has signed a deal with Carbon Neutral Britain which offsets all its customers’ carbon emissions through seven global sustainability projects. The move follows The Green Insurer’s own Carbon Neutral certification last year which demonstrated that it offset all its own operational emissions. The location of the projects ranges from Mongolia and Turkey to Costa Rica and Zambia.
Paul Baxter, CEO of The Green Insurer, said: “Since launching, our mission has been to help drivers reduce their carbon footprint. Alongside achieving Carbon Neutral status for our own business, we understand how important it would be to support our customers in doing the same.
“Our partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain allows us to offset emissions from their driving in a way that not only reduces carbon impact but also delivers tangible and long-term environmental and social benefits around the world.”
