Dayinsure joins Insurance Fraud Bureau

Short-term motor insurance provider Dayinsure has joined the Insurance Fraud Bureau, which is a not-for-profit industry body that was established in 2006 and serves as the market’s data hub for fraud intelligence and analytics.

Dayinsure is the IFB’s first new member of 2026. It offers motor insurance policies with terms ranging from one hour to 30 days.

Ursula Jallow, director of the IFB, said: “We’re very pleased to have Dayinsure join our membership. Specialists like Dayinsure, who play a key role in the provision of insurance services, will see their fraud defences strengthened and be in a better place to protect their honest customers and reduce fraud-related costs.”

Chris Bibby, CEO of Dayinsure, added: “By working closely with the IFB we can play a more active role in identifying, preventing and disrupting fraudulent activity, particularly in our own short-term insurance sector. We are delighted to be the first short-term insurance business to join and we’re excited to collaborate with industry partners to share intelligence and help protect customers.”
