Targa Telematics has launched its vehicle delivery monitoring solution to assist vehicle leasing companies to monitor and better manage every stage of the delivery process from OEM production and transport to preparation at the delivery centre. It says this will enable firms to better understand and manage the process and to mitigate potential exposures.

The system takes data from in-vehicle devices as well as from third party service providers such as logistics firms. It then flags up any mismatches to the scheduled workflow. This might include vehicles being delivered to the wrong address or being registered as being operational while still in transit.

The delivery monitoring solution ensures vehicles have the correct cover in place in respect of their delivery status and has prompts about the necessary contract documentation required at each stage.
