Euna expands proposition into home market

Managing general agent Euna has launched a non-standard residential and contract works product – Specialist Home – offering insurance for properties across the UK. It seeks to cover risks such as non-standard construction, listed properties and properties undergoing contract works, as well as those with an adverse loss history and unoccupied or low-occupancy homes.

As part of the expansion, Euna has recruited underwriters Simon Goddard, Stuart Rickett, Craig Woolley and Sam Gardiner from across the market with experience ranging from more than 10 to more than 25 years.

Euna was established in 2014 and works through a panel of brokers. It operates in classes including property and casualty, construction, professional risks, surety bonds and medical malpractice.

Ross Dingwall, CEO of Euna, said: “When a risk falls outside the standard market, brokers need more than another online referral. They need direct access to experienced underwriters with the authority to make informed decisions and find solutions for complex risks.

He added: “Our new personal lines team is made up of underwriters who do exactly that, working closely with brokers to provide tailored cover for complex risks.”
