Markel Insurance has teamed up with data management and data platform provider Verodat. The move is aimed at improving access to high-quality data and strengthening collaboration with brokers and coverholders by enabling faster processing, clearer oversight and more effective feedback on data quality.

The solution is designed to analyse and break down non-standardised bordereaux data into clearer, actionable insights, helping underwriters identify trends, monitor portfolio performance and make better-informed decisions. It is also intended to support stronger governance and regulatory compliance across Markel’s delegated authority business.
