ManyPets has launched a pet insurance plugin, or app, on ChatGPT, which it says will make it quicker and easier for pet owners to get a quote. ManyPets says the plugin is aimed at consumers who are beginning to use large language models to fulfil their everyday search demands.

By answering a few questions, consumers can get indicative prices and options from ManyPets’ range of lifetime insurance plans, which provide between £3,000 and £20,000 of vet fee cover a year.

The plugin does not provide advice or recommendations and customers need to click through to the ManyPets website to receive a finalised price and complete the purchase.

This innovation is about meeting customers and increasingly their AI agents, in the channels they use and trust most.”
