Zurich broadens appetite for e-traded SME liability risks

Zurich has added 1,400 trades to its e-traded SME combined liability proposition, which it has launched on Acturis Open Market and Zurich Online. The new proposition builds on Zurich’s existing SME commercial combined infrastructure, expanding the range of risks it can cover.

Zurich says the move reflects broker demand for easier access to products and the ability to place a wider selection of risks with the carrier.

Nikki Lidster, head of SME at Zurich UK, said: "Brokers have told us they want more flexibility, more choice and simpler ways to place business. By launching combined liability on Acturis and Zurich Online, we're delivering exactly that.

“Giving brokers access to over 1,400 additional trades means they can describe customers' businesses more accurately, giving us a better understanding of the risk and helping us provide more tailored quotations.
“This is another important step in our SME strategy and our commitment to making Zurich easier to trade with.”
