Axa UK has teamed up with property technology business Cotality to create an in-house building repair network. The insurer says the network will go live next month and connect policyholders, repair contractors and claims teams on a single platform.

Axa says the move to Cotality’s Claims Workspace platform will replace a number of legacy systems and simplify building claim workflows across personal and commercial lines products.

In addition, Axa is also going to deploy a range Cotality’s other solutions. They will provide AI-enabled estimating capability, data on claim-level carbon emissions, enhanced video assessments and improved desk-based claims assessments.

This will provide Axa brokers, partners and customers with an enhanced and streamlined service, removing unnecessary delays and reducing the lifecycle on property claims across our personal lines and commercial business.”
