Insurwave enhances marine and aviation monitoring

Insurwave has relaunched its risk platform with new capabilities for insurers, brokers and fleet owners covering marine and aviation risks. The updated platform brings together live risk data and specialist third-party intelligence to provide continuous monitoring of changing exposures.

Two of four new modules are available immediately, with two more due later this year.
Track & Cover provides fleet owners with a live view of their assets and associated insurance cover, including the ability to obtain quotes for additional premiums through the platform.

Risk Intelligence analyses submissions using real-time and historical data to produce a risk score. The system draws on data from providers including Lloyd’s List Intelligence, Osprey Flight Solutions and Flightradar24.

Two further modules – Portfolio Impact Analysis and Continuous Intelligence – are due to launch later this year. The former will allow users to assess how an individual risk could affect aggregate exposure before capital is committed, while the latter will continuously re-score bound business as risk conditions change.

Adrian Morgan, CEO of Insurwave, said: “With the powerfully updated and relaunched Insurwave platform, we are bringing every side of the risk together around a clearer dynamic view. By combining AI with live and specialist risk data, users can see what has changed, understand why it matters and interrogate that intelligence in natural language. The aim is to move from information to decision faster, supporting markets where expert judgement is backed by live evidence, and no exposure goes unwatched.”

“For insurers, that means underwriting with greater foresight and understanding portfolio impact before capital is committed. For brokers, it means faster placement, less time chasing exposure data and a shared live view that strengthens client relationships. For fleet owners, it means understanding where risk sits across individual assets and what changes in the world mean for their exposure.”
