Neil Grimshaw has established Decello Ltd, a directly authorised broker that is based in Huddersfield and aims to support commercial clients and high-net-worth private clients, He previously founded Leeds-based Ravenhall Risk Solutions, which was acquired by Jensten in 2022.

Decello is based at the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre in Huddersfield and the team’s simple ethos is to focus on the provision of considered, technically sound advice.

Grimshaw, said: “Too many businesses buy insurance as a commodity and only find out what their policy really does when they make a claim. Decello exists to change that. We take the time to understand how a business actually works and design a programme around them. Advice comes first; then service follows.”

In addition to Grimshaw, the team comprises business and operations director Roberta Noble and account directors Michelle France and Janet Warrender. The firm is also a member of the Cobra Network.
