MGAA names new chair of its Next Gen Committee

The Managing General Agents’ Association has appointed Jack Harding (pictured) to chair its Next Gen Committee, which is tasked with engaging, representing and supporting the next generation of professionals in the MGA market. Harding is a senior underwriter at Miramar Underwriting Limited and takes on the role from Kajal Pankhania, director at MGA incubator DA Strategy after her two and a half-year tenure.

Mike Keating, CEO of the MGAA, said: “The MGAA Next Gen group embodies our commitment to nurturing talent and driving excellence across the MGA profession. This year’s vote for the new Chair demonstrated the depth of capability and ambition within our community, with many exceptional candidates putting themselves forward for the role.

“Under Kajal’s outstanding leadership, the group has become a vibrant hub of activity, setting standards and fostering best practices that will benefit the industry for years to come.

“We are delighted to welcome Jack and are confident he will continue to build on this momentum, ensuring talent, engagement with other market Next Gen groups, training, and advocacy remain at the heart of everything we do.”
