Allianz Partners UK, which specialises in B2B2C insurance and assistance, has teamed up with Avid Insurance and will now provide capacity and underwrite travel insurance policies sold by the MGA and its partners.

Marcus Latchford, chief sales and distribution officer for Allianz Partners UK and Ireland, said: “Providing the underwriting capacity for Avid’s travel schemes is an exciting and significant opportunity for us to broaden our distribution in a key part of the travel insurance market.
