Momentum Broker Solutions has launched a training initiative called Pathway Programme following a number of successful pilot sessions. The programme offers support in sales and general business skills and the curriculum has been developed with insurer partners including Aviva, Axa and Allianz.

Momentum provides support to around 90 independent brokers. Registration for the programme is expected to open later this year.

Aloma Ritchie, broker relationship manager at Momentum, said: “Instead of candidates just walking out the door, we’re giving some accountability to them - and the session.

“I follow up with routine calls, visits, and regular emails. We develop an action plan to see how they can quantify their new skills, to then implement into their business. The feedback has been overwhelming.”
