The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has launched its manifesto for 2024. It is entitled: “Managing risk for growth and economic security,” and prioritises support for the economy, businesses and consumers.

The trade body also launched a programme with the Careers and Enterprise Company starting with two London schools to raise awareness about the diversity of careers in insurance. In addition, BIBA has published three guides for brokers to use in assisting clients to better navigate the claims process for home, motor and travel insurance.

Jonathan Evans, chair of BIBA, said: “This Manifesto highlights the importance of insurance brokers across the economy and also how they play a vital role helping businesses to grow and individuals to remain financially secure.

“Appreciating that, as a sector, we must continue to look to the future we look for solutions to emerging risks and ways to attract new vibrant talent to meet the needs of new generations of clients.”
