Connected car data and devices provider Trakm8 has agreed a two-year extension to its contract with Direct Line Group. The agreement covers the provision of Trakm8’s “connectedcare” data sets and AI-driven first notification of loss crash algorithm.

Steve Williams, head of telematics and EV strategy at Direct Line Group, said: “We are pleased to extend our contract with Trakm8 and look forward to seeing the partnership extend to over 10 years.
