Markerstudy has appointed Kartina Tahir Thomson as an independent non-executive director of its distribution board.

She has more than 25 years of experience in commercial, financial, actuarial, risk, regulatory and governance roles, including positions at Willis Towers Watson and the Bank of England. Most recently, she served as president of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
