Allianz UK has announced the opening of its new commercial premises on Waterloo Street, Glasgow, in the “heart of the Scottish insurance market”.

Allianz’s Glasgow branch manager, Kevin O‘Neill said: “We moved into the previous office in the early 2000s but it had become rather outdated and no longer fit-for-purpose.

"We are delighted to be moving into our new bright, modern, prime location office space with excellent facilities for our teams, as we seek to continue our successful growth journey in the Scottish market,” he added.

Allianz’s director of broker markets, Sarah Mallaby commented: “Finding a modern environment for our colleagues and remaining in the city centre for our brokers were key priorities.

“This investment in a new office supports our trading strategy to have visible local presence in all key regional commercial insurance markets.”
