Global risk specialist, Inherent Risks has launched a medical evacuation and crisis response product for individuals and groups working in Ukraine that provides cover based on the days spent in the country.

Ukraine Response is a fully indemnified duty of care product. It is backed by ‘A’ rated capacity from Lloyd’s and Company Market insurers and uses licensing to offer membership to all nationalities.

Dan Kaine, head of risk and crisis advisory at Inherent Risks, said: “From our extensive experience providing essential services to literally thousands of staff and volunteers from global organisations travelling into, and around Ukraine, it became apparent that a more affordable and agile medical and crisis response option was needed.”

The Medical Response Membership costs approximately £30 per person per day and provides up to £195,000 of medical services, including bill payment for medical treatment in Ukraine, medical evacuation and repatriation.

The Crisis Response Membership offers £115,000 of crisis services in the event of a security incident or threat against an individual or organisation, for £15 per person, per day.
