Insurance provider CFC has appointed Matthew Glenville (pictured) to the newly created position of group chief operating officer. He will be tasked with streamlining operations across the firm’s underwriting, technology and business operations teams.

Louise O’Shea, group CEO at CFC, said: “This is a hugely important new role within the business as we lay the foundations for continued value creation in CFC’s ambitious plans for long-term growth, and I can’t think of a better person to take on these responsibilities than Matt.”

She added: “He has extensive experience delivering value creation for high-growth, tech-led businesses as well as working in different industry sectors from financial services and tech to law, in both listed and PE backed companies.”
