Axa launches broker development programme

Axa UK has selected the first 20 participants in its new commercial broker development programme, which aims to enhance their senior leadership capabilities. The programme launches with a three-day residential seminar in Paris. It will focus on succession planning and include scenario simulations to test and build participants’ skills.

Following the residential seminar, there will be four masterclasses on topics including attracting and retaining talent, strategic planning, data analysis and regulatory discipline. The programme will also include career coaching sessions to support delegates.

Lauren Nixon, broker proposition manager at Axa UK Commercial, said: “The close relationships we build with our brokers are crucial to our business so helping them develop the next generation of senior leaders and keep their top talent on board is mutually beneficial.

“The training is designed to provide practical skills that can immediately be put into action. It also introduces delegates to a peer group with whom they can collaborate and share their learnings. It approaches leadership as behaviour, equipping people to show up deliberately in moments that matter.”

The 20 delegates were selected from a pool of 45 candidates proposed by Axa UK’s branch managers and strategic partners. The programme will be run in association with Davies Group.
