Liberty Specialty Markets has announced that Henry Nelson has taken up the role of active underwriter, responsible for Lloyd’s Syndicate 4472. The move expands his existing duties as chief underwriting officer, UK and MENA, and sees him take the reins from current active underwriter Jane Warren, who is set to retire at the end of the year.

Luis Prato, president of UK and MENA at Liberty Specialty Markets, said: “Henry’s appointment marks an exciting next chapter for us. His leadership will be central in steering Lloyd’s Syndicate 4472 through future opportunities.”

Liberty Specialty Markets is headquartered in London with offices in Manchester and Bristol.
