Allianz has announced that Nicola George (pictured) will become managing director for Allianz’s personal lines broker business in the UK. She takes up the role from Mike Crane, who is stepping down. The business rebrands from LV= Broker to Allianz next week.

Serge Raffard, MD of Allianz Personal, said: “We are re-branding the LV= Broker business to Allianz in May, and so with this exciting new chapter ahead, now feels a natural point for Mike to hand over the reins. We wish him all the best.”

He added: “Nicola is an established leader who brings invaluable experience and insights into this key role. She understands the dynamics of the personal lines broker market thoroughly, and we’re excited to see how she will grow and develop our presence.”
