Andy Burnham to address BIBA conference

Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, will be a keynote speaker at the British Insurance Brokers’ Association conference and is scheduled to address delegates on 13th May. He is currently serving his third term as mayor, having secured re-election in 2024.

In addition to delivering an opening address, Burnham will also take part in a more informal platform discussion with conference host Kay Burley.

Graeme Trudgill, CEO of BIBA, said: “It will be great to welcome Andy back to the BIBA conference. Much has changed in politics and the economy since he last addressed BIBA delegates onstage in 2022, so it will be fantastic to hear his updated plans and objectives for Manchester.”

Burnham added: “The BIBA conference is a major event that delivers a significant positive impact to Greater Manchester’s local economy, and we’re ready to give a warm welcome to delegates again this year.”
